Motivational interviewing amongst United Kingdom educational psychologists:
opportunities for practice development
This project sought to find ways of supporting educational psychologists to develop competency in relation to the spirit, processes and skills or MI and to evaluate their own practice. It also looked at methods of outcome-setting with children and young people and proposed child-friendly outcome and session rating scales, relating to MI practice. Some of the materials are directly linked to the project phase, but may be useful in supporting internal audit within services.
